Concrete is only as good as the crew and the prep behind it. Here's what sets our work apart.
Anyone can rent a mixer and pour wet concrete into a form. The difference between a slab that lasts 30 years and one that cracks in three shows up in the parts you never see — the base, the reinforcement, the drainage, and the finish. This is where we focus.
We live and work in Central Ohio. We know the clay soil, the freeze-thaw winters, and the local permit rules — and we're a short drive away if you ever have a question after the job.
Most concrete failures start under the slab. We excavate, grade, and compact a proper stone base every time — not just when it's convenient.
You get a clear price in writing before we start, with the scope spelled out. No vague estimates, no surprise add-ons on the final invoice.
If a repair will save you money over a replacement, we'll say so. If a patch is just delaying the inevitable, we'll tell you that too.
Air-entrained, freeze-thaw rated concrete, proper control joints, and careful curing so your surface resists the scaling Ohio winters cause.
We protect your property, clean up the site, and treat your home the way we'd want ours treated.
Drive around any older Delaware neighborhood and you'll see driveways with cracks running corner to corner, patios that have sunk toward the house, and steps pulling away from the porch. Almost none of that is bad luck. It's what happens when concrete is poured too thin, on loose or wet ground, without proper joints or drainage.
Central Ohio's heavy clay holds water, and when that water freezes it expands and pushes concrete upward — then the ground settles unevenly as it thaws. Concrete that isn't resting on a compacted stone base and isn't reinforced simply can't survive that cycle for long.
We build for it from the ground up: excavate to the right depth, lay and compact a stone base for drainage and stability, set wire mesh or rebar, pour at the correct thickness, cut control joints in the right places, and slope every surface to shed water. It's more work up front — and it's the reason the concrete still looks good years later.
