Everything from a new driveway to a repaired step — poured and finished for Central Ohio's soil and weather.
We're a full-service concrete crew serving Delaware and the surrounding towns. Below is what we pour and repair most often. Don't see your project listed? Give us a call — if it's concrete, we can probably help.
A new concrete driveway is one of the best upgrades you can make to a Delaware-area home — it looks clean, boosts curb appeal, and lasts far longer than asphalt when it's poured correctly. We handle new installs and full replacements of cracked, spalling, or sunken driveways.
Every driveway starts with excavation and a compacted stone base, then a minimum four-inch pour reinforced with wire mesh or rebar (thicker where vehicles turn or park heavy loads). We slope the surface to drain water away from your garage and foundation, and cut control joints so the slab cracks where we want it to — not across the middle. Choose a standard broom finish or add a decorative border.
A concrete patio turns an unused corner of the yard into an outdoor living space. We pour standard broom-finish patios as well as decorative options: exposed aggregate, colored concrete, and stamped patterns that mimic the look of stone, brick, slate, or wood plank at a fraction of the cost.
Stamped and colored concrete is a popular pick around Powell and Lewis Center for patios, pool decks, and walkways because it delivers a high-end look with one solid, low-maintenance surface — no pavers to shift, settle, or grow weeds between. We seal decorative work to protect the color against Ohio's sun and freeze-thaw cycles.
Cracked, uneven, or heaved sidewalks aren't just an eyesore — they're a trip hazard and, along the street, sometimes a code issue. We pour new walkways from your driveway to the door, garden paths through the yard, and replacement public sidewalks built to City of Delaware and Delaware County specifications.
Walkways are poured level and slip-resistant, with proper joints and drainage so they don't pool water or lift over the winter.
Garage, pole barn, and workshop floors take a beating from vehicles, jacks, and dropped tools. We pour thick, reinforced interior slabs on a proper base so they carry the load without cracking, and we finish them smooth and flat for easy cleanup. Ask about adding a broom or trowel finish for traction.
Need a solid pad? We pour foundation slabs and footings for home additions and outbuildings, plus smaller pads for sheds, detached garages, hot tubs, generators, AC condensers, and mailbox or basketball posts. Each pour is sized and reinforced for what it has to hold and set below the frost line where footings are required.
Concrete steps and porches need proper footings, or they settle and pull away from the house. We pour new steps and stoops to code, rebuild ones that have cracked or sunk, and match them cleanly to your existing walk or drive. Safe, level, and built to stay put.
Ohio's freeze-thaw cycles and clay soil are hard on concrete. We repair and resurface where it makes sense — filling and sealing cracks, resurfacing pitted or scaled slabs, and leveling minor settling. When a slab is badly heaved, crumbling, or sitting on a failed base, we'll tell you honestly when a tear-out and repour is the better long-term value instead of throwing money at repeated patches.
Tell us about your project and we'll walk you through the options and give you a free on-site estimate.
